Paddy McGuinness reveals he's had a 'nightmare' Christmas after his TOOTH fell out

His wife Christine said they’d had their ‘calmest Christmas ever’ with their autistic children.

But Paddy McGuinness revealed that the festive season was surprisingly turbulent, as he took to Instagram on Sunday to reveal his front tooth had fallen out.

The presenter, 46, shared a glimpse of his smile with one of his teeth noticeably missing as he also revealed the toilet in his house was blocked up and yet to be repaired.

In the post Paddy eagerly greeted his followers with a grin to display the missing tooth, as he wrote about his festive woes in the caption.

The star admitted that he was already counting down to the end of the Christmas holidays, and after his toilet was blocked up, a chewy festive treat may have caused his tooth to fall out.

Paddy wrote: ‘Our toilet blocked up on Christmas Eve, kids still off school for another two weeks and now this!

‘Why is it always when the dentist is closed. #weekend #sunday #toothfairy #tomanytoffeesoverchristmas #boltonbeauty.’

The festive revelations came after his wife Christine took to social media to share a candid selfie with her husband after celebrating their ‘calmest, happiest Christmas yet.’

The mother-of-three looked flawless as she posed in bed with Paddy following their yuletide day, which she said only contained ‘one massive overload meltdown.’

Paddy also posted about their successful Christmas with autistic twins Leo and Penelope, six, and Felicity, three, and wrote ‘we survived!’

Earlier in December Christine told her 301K Instagram followers that she has been able to decorate her family home with its first Christmas tree in six-years.

The star previously admitted she was unable to excessively decorate her home over the festive period because it overwhelms Leo and Penelope, who have autism.

But taking to Instagram, Christine admitted she had successfully erected a large tree in her living room this year, complete with baubles, tinsel, and plenty of fairy lights.

An image showed Leo, Penelope and their three-year old sister Felicity inspecting the large tree shortly after decorating it.

Captioning the image, Christine revealed she had been using a variety of aids to help her children cope with the festive period.

She wrote: ‘I am the proudest mummy, I can't believe my babies are happy around our Christmas tree Christmas is always a very difficult time of year for us…

‘Our children can get overwhelmed, upset with all the changes everywhere, the lack of school routine, they get overstimulated and anxious meaning daily meltdowns are a given.

‘This year I am preparing more than ever, visiting Christmas displays as much as possible (even if we only last 5 minutes) .. choosing decorations for our tree together, using visual calendars, reading stories about Christmas, even watching peppa pigs Christmas on repeat.’

She added: ‘So far they are coping amazing and we have managed to put a tree up at home without any upset for the first time in years.’

The twins were diagnosed with autism in 2017 and the model has previously said Felicity is showing signs of autism, but can’t be diagnosed until she is at least three or four.
