Ordeal: The Bachelor runner-up Abbie Chatfield broke down in tears on Instagram on Wednesday after being accused of seeking out media attention
They suggested that Abbie was looking for attention when she shared several Instagram posts of herself and Nathan getting close at a Bondi Boost event in Sydney earlier this month.
‘Maybe they weren’t flirting and they were hamming it up. It was kind of weird though,’ said Matty.
Natalie then claimed the Instagram posts were a ‘cry for attention’.

Responding to these hurtful comments, a tearful Abbie accused Matty and Natalie of ‘assuming her motivations’.
‘I feel like I’ve tried really hard since [The Bachelor] finished to show you guys who I really am and this thing just follows me around and all I get is negative media,’ she said.
‘I still get called a “villain”. I still get called all these things and I’m f**king over it. Like, they treat me like I’m a character and I’m not. Like, I’m struggling so much right now.’
